Description
RIWC Regina Immigrant Women Centre is hiring a full-time Facilitator. The Facilitator will help clients in the employment program with lower computer skills to overcome barriers to employment.

DUTIES
Conduct employment needs assessment and digital skills assessment
Assist participants in goal setting and in developing employability skills
Developing and delivering the digital literacy skills curriculum to the eligible participants individually and in a small group-based
Providing feedback to participants on their progression through the various digital skills courses
Working to streamline participants in the course that best fits their current digital skills and employment goals
Discuss the participants progress and challenges and provide feedback to participants through the various digital skills courses
Assisting participants with revision and creation of their digital professional portfolio based on the digital skills
Maintaining participants attendance
Assist the Program Coordinator in ad hoc tasks
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and end-of-the-program report

QUALIFICATIONS
College degree/diploma in Education and/or Computer Science/Information Technology
Two-years of digital literacy teaching experience
Experience working with people with diverse backgrounds and linguistic skill
Demonstrate intermediate technology skills for Windows, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Safari required

SKILLS
Excellent communication skills in English
Knowledge of principles and practices related to adult literacy and facilitating group sessions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Experience and understanding of local labour market trends
Demonstrate networking and relationship building
Ability to work well independently and as part of a group
